This present age is the triumph of the blase’. It’s a disgrace! How can the blase’ be triumphing so? They can’t possibly have a good army.

People riot the same way they orgasm. This is why the riots of men end as fast as they begin and have never really changed anything. Woman’s riot will be an ever-expanding, multiple, only-accumulating rebellion that will shatter this paradigm forever.
The Greek God Zeus turned Teiresias into a woman for seven years so that at the end of the seven years, Zeus could ask Teiresias who - man or woman - was enjoying sex more. Teiresias giggled and answered Zeus…”Isn’t it obvious?” Hera, Zeus’s wife, Queen of the Gods, then blinded Teiresias as punishment for sharing woman’s primary secret. Don’t you think Teiresias’s giggle would have been even louder if Zeus had asked him whose riot - man or woman’s - would be more effective?

The cities of today are fierce on the topic of their self-perpetuation; the cities of the future will be proud to be biodegradable.
New York City actually believes it’ll last forver. New York City, therefore, is a fortress built to protect the twentieth century and the same sad delusion that instigated Assyrian emperors to sign the cornerstones of ancient Assyrian buildings…Black Rock City (the Burning Man city) is a city named after the desert it sits in because it is built to be a gift to that desert. It is a city that, even as it enjoys its potent, opulent prime, is aware that it shares the same destiny of any random sandflake.

I am a prop for lesbians.
This is not a mission statement. It is a humility doing what humilities do when they’re allowed to express themselves, which is, articulate our true place in the food chain.

Bitterness - the only form of the Black Plague that considers itself to be still winning.
There are other forms of Black Plague that had, in their prime, killed off a third of Europe’s population and that, today, know themselves to be inoculated and obsolete. In a convention of plagues, the most incessant respect goes to this form of plague that decided not to plague the human race by infecting our voluntary organs but, instead, chose to conquer us by way of our regrets.

Meant - everything unutterable uttered, not quite.
The worst violence of all is shy violence. The invisible, never spoken, emotional violence between us is the precise kind of violence all CNN Headlines ignore. The dramaturg reads into the subtext of the unfolding reality because that is where life’s greatest exclamations lie. This is why the theater director is constantly asking the actor, “What is your character’s motivation? Why is he or she saying this at this time?”

I am here to welcome you to Speedisms.com – my name is Speed Levitch. I’m a tour guide and a playwright, and so, my martial art — reading into the subtext of reality with a dramatalurgical eye — intermixes with my vocation, which is promoting vacation and vacation-consciousness to people attempting to be on vacation, people who are commonly known as tourists. And, every tour I give begins with the assumption that we are all tourists, as we are all temporarily visiting the planet. However, I don’t mean tourists, the kind who come to a place to take away from that place’s identity and beauty, no, I’m talking about tourists, pilgrims, flaneurs…the kind of tourist who comes to a place to contribute to that place’s identity and beauty. This is addressed to that type of tourist who visits a significant landmark and, therefore, makes that significant landmark more significant. This goes out to the vivacious abrupt, the earthbound-astronauts, to the fanatics of curiousity. It is to the savorers, that this blog is dedicated!
